BERIS Engineering and Research Corporation (hereafter referred to as BERIS), which was established on Dec. 21st, 2004 and registered in Qingdao, is a large-scale integrated engineering co***ny divided from Baotou Engineering and Research Corp. of China Metallurgical Construction (Group) Corporation(hereinafter referred to as MCC).
The predecessor of BERIS is Baotou Engineering and Research Co. of Iron and Steel Industry, which was founded in Baotou, Inner Mongolia in 1957 according to the ***ument No. 197 of (57) Ye Jin Ji Zi and (57) Ye She Ban Zi issued by the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry of China. After the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry of China was canceled due to the restructuring reform arranged by the State Council, MCC was founded. MCC, which is ranking in the forefront of 500 strong co***nies of world, is an extra large group enterprise controlled by the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. According to the ***ument Ji Guan Zi No. 22[1999] of MCC, Baotou Engineering and Research Co. of Iron and Steel Industry was renamed as Baotou Engineering and Research Co. of MCC, from which BERIS Engineering and Research Corporation was divided on Dec. 21st, 2004.
